How to use this Knowledgebase

Welcome to the FrameReady Knowledgebase.

FrameReady is the custom frame pricing and retail management system from SoftTouch Solutions Inc. FrameReady is a powerful, yet easy to use program, designed for point-of-sale use with your customers. Think of it as your assistant in managing your custom framing business or art gallery.

This database is set up for keyword searching. You can type in something like "how do I find duplicate records" and the most relevant articles will be found near the top. You may also search by category. You may also perform an advanced search. Or just go to a specific category and look at the titles of the articles.

Terms are defined in the Glossary.

This database covers both the Macintosh and Windows versions of FrameReady, FrameReady Lite and FrameReady Multi Site. The Using the Program category covers all the files shared in both FrameReady full version and FrameReady Lite version. To find the articles concerning the files in only FrameReady and Multi Site click Using FrameReady. Click Using FrameReady Multi Site if you are setting up multiple locations.

Most of the screen illustrations are from the Macintosh and may appear differently in Windows.

This knowledgebase assumes that you have a basic knowledge of either the Macintosh or Windows operating system. It is assumed, for example, that you know how to click or double-click a mouse, how to maximize or minimize windows and how to use pull-down menus. If you do not, then you will need to consult the help sites associated with your computer system.
