Recovering a Damaged File - Repair Method Windows

Power failures, hardware problems or other factors can damage a FrameReady file.  If a file is damaged, FrameReady will identify the file or files that need to be recovered when you open the program.  If you are currently using FrameReady version 5.6 or higher, there are two types of files in your FrameReady program, and two ways to recover the files.   If the file is a Data file (Data01, Data02, Data03 or Data04) use the Recover Method.  If it is any other file that is damaged (MainMenu, Invoice, Work Order, etc) use the Repair Method.

Please note: The Repair Method replaces the damaged file with a clean copy from the original FrameReady installer.  If you have made any customizations to that file, they will be lost using the Repair Method.  If this is the case, use the Recover Method or recover from a backup copy of FrameReady.
