Edit Category is used when you need to change a group of records with the same category to a new category. The button presents a dialog box with a pop-up menu of your existing categories. Select the Category you wish to change and then type in the new Category name. Click OK. The old category, which has been replaced, will no longer appear in your pop-up menu of Categories. It will, however, remain on your drop down Category field in the Invoice file. Editing the list helps to create more useful reports.
