Data/Notes tab

This green tab allows you to record what types of art work they collect, ie. civil war art, and/or any correspondence you have made with this contact.
Data/Notes Tab

1. Date field is from a pop-up calendar auto-fills with current date if a note is entered.

2. Type which art is collected or which direct mail campaign you have sent in Art Type/Notes field.

3. Delete button will empty the field.

4. Add notes to records in the found set lets you apply the same note to a group of contacts. There is also a date field which automatically date stamps when an entry is made. This allows you to search by a date or a date range. This is handy when you are doing a marketing campaign.

The following dialog box appears.
Add Note To Found Set

5. In Note, record the notation you wish to apply to the found set. The date field is auto-filled, but may be modified.

6. Click OK.

The note is applied to all records in the found set.

For example, you might want to track how many customers came into your shop with a Welcome Wagon™ coupon during the month of September 2008. If you entered a code, such as, “WWC” in the Art Type/Note field for each customer that came in with a coupon, then you could easily do a search on the Date and Art Type/Notes fields. You can also track mailing dates by entering the mailing that went you sent, (e.g. Open House Invite). The current date will be automatically entered when you leave the field.

You may also enter art type notes from the New Contact Enter Information screen when you are creating a new customer record.
