How do I set up some templates to do quantities of repeat orders?

If you do a lot of repeat frame jobs you will want to learn how to create simple templates in FrameReady.

1. Create a new work order for each design you would need to repeat. i.e. shadowbox for hockey jersey.

2. Use your Gallery ID# as the Customer's Name.

3. Perhaps you may want to create a new entry in the Artwork value list called: Templates.

4. Enter the title in the Artwork description field on the work order. i.e. Template: Jersery, Template: Conservation....etc.

5. Save each of these work orders as an estimate.

When you need to use one:

1. Go to the Work Order file.

2. Perform a Find and select 'Templates' from the Artwork category value list.

3. Click on the template in the list which is to be used.

4. Duplicate the order using the Duplicate Work Order button on the side bar.
This will create the identical design but with a new date. remove the Gallery ID and enter the customer's name.

5. Change the wording of 'template' to identify the actual item being framed and enter the customer info.

Your template will still be available for future use.
