How do I make sure I don't lose my images when I move from my laptop to my desktop?

Images will be lost if the source is moved. You can store the entire image in FrameReady but this will greatly enlarge the size of your files. When importing
an image, check the box Store only a reference to the file. This will show the image in FrameReady but actually keep the file where it is located. Create a folder on your root directory (C: drive). Entitle the folder "Images". Put all of your images in this folder. This way if you move your FrameReady program and the Images folder to another computer, the images will transfer over as well.
