Where do I set up the automatic inventory feature?

1. Go to Main Menu > Work Order Options .

2. Click Auto Update of Materials Inventory check box.

3. Click Done.

Mark this box if you wish to use the Automatic update of materials inventory for moulding, matboard, glass, etc. This option will require you to toggle back and forth between two screens.

When finished filling in a work order you will have two choices:

Clicking WORK ORDER DONE button at the top of the screen will automatically remove from inventory: moulding footage, matboard, mounting & glass (increments of 1/4, 1/2 or full sheet), and hardware.

Clicking KEEP AS ESTIMATE button at the top of the screen will not remove any stock from inventory. If you go back to the work order again, the form view displays a Modify Work Order button. Click to enter data. Clicking Modify Work Order will return stock to inventory.

There are pros and cons for using either auto or manual inventory systems. In the Price Codes file you will need to use one or the other, or none.
