Applying Your Own Moulding Pricing

1. Go to Price Codes file > Moulding side bar button.

2. You will need to find a sample moulding record with which to experiment. Use the Find button to find a moulding number with which you are familiar.

3. Click Frame Pricing tab.

You will see the program default formula under
Markup = and Set Price fields. Modify or enter your new formula.

4. Click Pricing Options and Defaults.

Note: If you hold down the Shift key when clicking
Pricing Options and Defaults, then you will see your new formula set up as a default for that particular Supplier and Group. At this point you may wish to de-select as a default record or you may wish to modify the group and supplier parameters, e.g. you want this formula to apply to all Suppliers not just the one on the record and/or you may want to apply it to other groups, i.e. fillet, liner. You are setting up a default so when you do your vendor pricing updates it will pick up your choice.

5. Select the formula you wish to apply or click Done.

You will be returned to the form view Frame Pricing tab.

6. Now apply the new formula by clicking Apply This Formula to a Group of Records.

The following dialog box appears.

Apply Formula to a Group of Records

If you want to apply this formula to additional groups or to a specific vendor, select them here.

7. Click Apply.

FrameReady finds all records matching the selected criteria and replaces the formula and set price fields.
Your moulding pricing is now finished.

You may need to re-visit this at least once a year depending on your demographic.
